Who: Parents who have a child that has graduated high school
When: Tuesday, September 26, October 3, 10 and 17 (7-8:30 PM)

Congratulations!! Your child has spread his/her wings and has left your home for college, full time work or training, or other adventures. It’s an exciting time, but also one that comes with change. This 4-week discussion group will explore many of these changes by addressing the core concept of “Who am I? As a parent? As a partner? As a person?”

Week 1 and Week 2: Introduction + Who Am I as a Parent?
Introduction +
What to expect when parenting a young adult from afar--communication, connection/relationship, access to information
How to support your child's health and well-being
What's most important to you as a parent right now?
How do you see your role as a parent changing and evolving?
Is the door always open for your child to return home?

Week 3: Who am I as a partner and friend?
Does your relationship with your spouse need a recharge?
What can you do to make it "your time" as a couple?
What’s important for each of you?
What other relationships do you have that you'd like to build or lean into?

Week 4: Who am I as a person?

Is it time to make changes professionally?
Is moving/downsizing in the cards?
Will I have to care for a parent?
Will I want to redefine myself? What is most important for my own happiness?
