Who We Are

The Center for Parents and Teachers (CPT) provides unique parent education programs, teacher training opportunities and support for community wide information events. As a 501c3 non profit organization centered in Concord, MA, CPT attracts participants throughout eastern MA to its small and large forum events.


Our Mission and Beliefs

CPT serves families and schools, supporting them in what CPT believes are the most important jobs in the world: raising our children.  We believe that our programs for both parents and teachers serve to elevate the entire community.

To support its work with parents and teachers, CPT relies on individual donations and grants from community businesses and organizations such as the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, Healthy Concord, Concord - Carlisle Regional School District, The Bradford Mills, Concord Printing, Woodman & Eaton PC, CCHS PA, CMS PTG, Elementary PTGs, First Parish Concord, Foundation for Metro-west and CHNA 15.

Communities are being asked to forge alliances to work on issues that transcend home and classroom boundaries. CPT works in partnership with community organizations to support best possible community wide responses to the many challenges of these times.  Participants are offered exceptional learning opportunities that afford new strategies for effective responses.
