Explore the magic of nature's loose parts and discover how you can instantly create "pop-up" outdoor classroom curriculum. This workshop will demonstrate how to take learning outdoors and explore how to use sticks, stones, feathers, and shells as curriculum tools. Learn a range of activities in different curriculum tools. This jam-packed workshop offers hands-on ideas, resources and playful learning.

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR: Victoria Hackett is the founder of Outdoor-Classrooms.com. As a parent, educational consultant, trainer and coach, Victoria inspires playful learning. Her seminars blend theoretical information with hands on problem solving techniques. She has been in the field of education for over twenty-five years and holds a Masters in Education from Cambridge College. After years of working with children, educators and parents, Victoria has cultivated a passion for inspiring teachers to reconnect children with nature using outdoor classrooms. She was the founder of the Cove School Children’s Garden in Beverly, MA and has been spreading the concepts of creating Outdoor Classrooms on a shoe string budget ever since. Her mission is to offer high quality teacher training while creating an international virtual community of Natural Teachers. Her vision is for every child, in every school to have access to an Outdoor Classroom.
